Description: | This project proposes the development of OO-CoBE, a lightweight and flexible Onsite-Online Computer-Based Examination platform designed to address the challenges of large-scale assessment in programming courses. Leveraging web-based technologies and AI-assisted grading, OO-CoBE allows students to complete digital exams on-site while enabling automated grading and real-time monitoring. The system aims to reduce manual grading workloads, ensure grading consistency, support academic integrity, and improve students’ exam experiences. It also accommodates diverse needs, including those of SEN students. Project objectives include: OO-CoBE will be piloted in 14 programming courses, with the potential for broader adoption across HKUST and beyond. |
