Design and Assessment for MOOC and Its Smooth Relocation to Canvas

The project aims to:

• Understand the advantages, disadvantages, and challenges of online assessment.
• Improve the assessment for online exercises and simulations, especially Matlab-based and system-level simulations.
• Disseminate our experience in online assessment to faculty at HKUST.
• Relocate the material developed for MOOC back to Canvas for use in physical class on campus.
• Develop a department/school/university level Matlab learning/teaching platform.
